Vice President, Marketing

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Vice President, Marketing will be responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s global marketing strategy.  This will include all communication, branding and messaging to Ardenton’s key audiences: current and prospective portfolio companies, centres of influence in the business community, as well as current and prospective investors. The Vice President, Marketing will be part of the strategic planning team, and will execute on projects related to the corporate website, public relations, investor relations, and all related corporate branding events and programs.  This person will be expected to make a major contribution to Ardenton’s strategic development.

The successful candidate will have 10+ years of strategic, senior-level marketing and communications experience.  A successful track record of brand development and differentiation coupled with an entrepreneurial flair to have a corporate message heard in a crowded marketspace is essential.  The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, unique and high performing culture is a must.  A Commerce degree and/or MBA with a specialization in marketing will set the stage for success in this role.  Experience in the financial industry considered an asset.
